This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMZN/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.Amazon (AMZN) shares closed at $209.77 on April 2, 2026, reflecting stable price action amid broader tech sector rotation and modest trading volume, with the stock holding above its 30-day low of $199.14. Trader sentiment leans bullish, anchored by analyst consensus of "Moderate Buy" with an average price target of $281—implying over 30% upside—driven by robust AWS growth projections and e-commerce margin expansion. Recent catalysts include a Financial Times report on April 2 of advanced talks to acquire Globalstar for satellite spectrum to bolster Project Kuiper ambitions, countering SpaceX competition, though a minor insider sale of 1,000 shares by retail CEO Douglas Herrington at $210.50 signaled no major concerns. Q1 2026 earnings, expected around April 30, loom as the key post-week catalyst, while next week's economic data like CPI could sway risk appetite for megacap tech.
