Frances Tiafoe holds a clear edge in trader consensus for his Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters round of 64 clash with Terence Atmane, driven by his No. 18 ATP ranking as the 14th seed, a perfect 2-0 head-to-head record—including a straight-sets Miami Open win over Atmane on March 24—and a strong clay-court season opener reaching the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships semifinals before a narrow loss to Tommy Paul on April 4. Atmane, the No. 44-ranked Frenchman entering via wildcard, boasts a career-high ranking but enters without recent clay results and limited ATP clay experience (3-5 lifetime). No injuries reported; mild weather at Monte Carlo Country Club supports Tiafoe's baseline power, though Atmane's lefty serve offers upset potential on the slower surface.
