David Jordà Sanchis enters the Milan Challenger first-round matchup against Juan Carlos Prado Angelo on strong recent form after claiming consecutive clay-court Challenger titles, including a June 14 final victory over Félix Balshaw in Lyon as a lucky loser that lifted him to a career-high ranking of 186. The 32-year-old Spaniard has shown improved consistency on the surface in 2026. Prado Angelo, the 21-year-old Bolivian ranked 156-157, brings solid baseline play but limited recent clay results and comes off a Wimbledon qualifying loss to Daniel Evans. Their lone prior meeting saw Prado win in three sets on clay in Todi last year. Surface conditions, recovery from recent travel, and first-round serve efficiency will shape outcomes in this ATP Challenger encounter.
