Speen Ghar Tigers secured a dominant 59-run victory over Boost Defenders in Match 6 of the Shpageeza Cricket League 2026 T20 at Khost Cricket Stadium on July 4. SGT posted 219/6 with strong contributions from the middle order before restricting Boost Defenders to 160/8 despite a competitive chase. Key factors included SGT's explosive batting depth featuring players like Rashid Khan and Ismat Alam, who earned player-of-the-match honors, alongside Boost Defenders' struggles with the bat after electing to field first. Recent form, home conditions favoring aggressive T20 scoring, and squad composition with Afghanistan internationals shaped pre-match expectations around SGT's edge in power-hitting and bowling variety. The result lifted Speen Ghar Tigers to the top of the points table early in the tournament.
