Ensemble spreads and differences between deterministic runs create the tight clustering of market-implied probabilities around those bins, as small shifts in timing of any cloud cover or boundary-layer mixing can alter the daily maximum by a degree or two. This pattern aligns with typical late-June climatology for Central Park, where highs average near 82 °F, while the absence of strong high-pressure ridging or upstream heat sources keeps the upper tail of the distribution low. Forecasters will issue final updates through the overnight and morning hours before resolution.
