Current forecast models from regional meteorological services indicate a high near 30–31°C for Panama City on September 24, aligning with the market's leading implied probabilities. This stems from persistent maritime tropical air masses, elevated sea-surface temperatures around 29°C, and typical late-September positioning of the Intertropical Convergence Zone, which favors afternoon convection but limits extreme daytime heating. Recent model runs show moderate northeast flow and 25–40% rain chances moderating peaks, consistent with September climatology of 30–31°C averages. No significant anomalies or rapid intensification signals have emerged in the past 48 hours to shift consensus away from this narrow range.
