Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If the final trading day of the month is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance — specifically, the Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/META/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.Meta's stock surged over 15% following its April 24 Q1 earnings beat, with advertising revenue hitting $35.64 billion—exceeding expectations—fueled by AI-driven optimizations across Facebook, Instagram Reels, and WhatsApp engagement algorithms. Robust user growth to 3.98 billion daily actives and the first-ever 50-cent quarterly dividend, paired with a $50 billion buyback expansion, reinforced investor faith despite $35-40 billion 2024 AI capex guidance. Llama 3 large language model rollout nears, enhancing competitive positioning versus OpenAI and Google. Absent major events before month-end, traders weigh ad market resilience and TikTok divestiture bill uncertainty in House passage aftermath.
