The Los Angeles Dodgers' overwhelming talent depth and massive payroll anchor their 85% implied probability as 2026 NL West champions, bolstered by stars like Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman alongside emerging arms like Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Recent offseason maneuvers, including the Dodgers' aggressive retention of core players and additions to their rotation, widen the gap over rivals, per projections from FanGraphs and PECOTA. The San Diego Padres hold second at 9.5% with Xander Bogaerts and Manny Machado intact but hampered by pitching questions post-Dylan Cease trade rumors. San Francisco Giants (8.1%) gained traction via Logan Webb's extension and prospect influx, while Arizona Diamondbacks (6.6%) lean on young Corbin Carroll amid defensive tweaks; Colorado Rockies (3.5%) lag with persistent altitude struggles and rebuild needs. Trader consensus reflects Dodgers' sustained dominance amid uncertain division parity.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 National League West division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
