The Washington Nationals lead MLB teams in home runs through early August 2026, yet the market remains tightly contested with several contenders clustered near even odds because the regular season still has roughly two months remaining. New York Yankees and Houston Astros sit close behind on the cumulative leaderboard, while Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers, and other clubs retain realistic paths through favorable remaining schedules, power-hitting lineups, and favorable matchup distributions. Late-season surges, injuries to key sluggers, or shifts in ballpark factors can still alter totals materially, keeping implied probabilities compressed across the field rather than consolidating behind any single club.
