For Saturday's matchup, lefty Max Fried takes the mound for the AL East-leading Yankees (8-5, strong 5-2 road record), facing righty Nick Martinez and the Rays (6-7, 2-2 home), whose bullpen depth is tested by absences like Ryan Pepiot's hip issue. Early-season Yankees offense has powered their edge, but Rays' home advantage and recent form keep this AL East rivalry competitive.
