Trader consensus on TSA checkpoint passenger screenings for March 18 reflects tight positioning around 2.2 million, driven by recent daily volumes averaging 2.15-2.25 million through March 17 amid spring break demand, with weekdays consistently below weekends' 2.5 million peaks. This keeps the <2.2M and 2.2M-2.4M bins nearly even, as historical Monday dips offset rising seasonal travel trends from post-winter recovery and steady flight schedules. Uncertainty lingers from variable weather impacts and economic sentiment affecting leisure bookings. Separation could emerge from March 17's final tally—if exceeding 2.3 million—or early indicators like airline load factors and FAA delay reports, potentially signaling sustained surge or pullback.
