If this event is cancelled, postponed after April 17, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the City of New York (https://www.nyc.gov/main/municipal-madness); however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.In Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani's inaugural Municipal Madness bracket tournament, trader consensus favors Bronx neighborhood projects after quarterfinal results from March 30 advanced repair playground fencing in Morris Park (45.5%) and resurface basketball court in Morrisania (44.5%) as frontrunners, with cleanup of illegal dumping in Soundview (41.5%) and replacement of litter baskets in Bushwick (41.5%) nipping closely behind. Over 11,600 public votes in prior rounds highlight strong grassroots mobilization from families and sports enthusiasts, keeping odds bunched amid passionate local advocacy and social media buzz. The race stays tight due to evenly matched infrastructure appeals across boroughs, but surges in final-round turnout, neighborhood canvassing, or high-profile endorsements could tip semifinals closing April 1 toward separation before the overall winner joins the mayor's day-100 fix list.
