Both Columbus Crew and Orlando City SC enter this Eastern Conference matchup in inconsistent form, with the Crew mired near the bottom of the standings after a five-match winless streak and Orlando hovering just above the playoff line despite recent wins. Multiple key absences on each side—including Columbus forwards and defenders sidelined by knee, ankle, and foot issues plus Orlando’s thigh and foot injuries—limit attacking options and depth for both clubs. Historical head-to-head results remain tightly balanced, with neither side dominating recent encounters. These factors, combined with Columbus hosting yet facing defensive vulnerabilities, produce the narrow spread among win and draw probabilities that reflects evenly matched squads and limited separation in current momentum.
