This market will resolve to "Yes" if Taylor Swift releases a re-recorded version of her debut album "Taylor Swift" by December 31, 2026, 11:59PM PT (Los Angeles time). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Officially released means that a newly released album is officially available for download or streaming (not including live events) by the resolution date. A qualifying album must either have some form of the designation "Taylor's Version" in the title or be acknowledged by Taylor Swift as a re-recording of the relevant album. "Taylor's Version" re-recordings of albums other than the album titled "Taylor Swift" will not qualify this market towards a "Yes" resolution. The resolution source will be any official streaming or download site, e.g. Apple Music or Spotify.Taylor Swift’s completed re-recording of her 2006 debut, confirmed after she purchased her masters in May 2025, underpins the near-even odds, yet the absence of any rollout plans sustains the slim “No” edge. Owning the originals removed the commercial imperative that drove prior Taylor’s Versions, and she has described a potential release strictly as an optional celebration rather than a priority. Fan speculation around the October 2026 20th anniversary and past surprise-drop patterns keep “Yes” viable, but months of silence since the masters deal and her shift toward new projects like The Life of a Showgirl have tempered momentum. An official announcement tied to the anniversary or a surprise drop before year-end would likely swing the market decisively toward “Yes.”
