City’s potent attacking options and historical dominance in head-to-head fixtures create a strong baseline, yet Birmingham’s promotion-winning form, added WSL experience, and organized defensive setup have kept probabilities level. Recent pre-season adjustments and the promoted side’s motivation to avoid an early deficit further balance second-half dynamics, reflecting the wisdom of crowds in pricing a competitive opener where momentum shifts or set-piece opportunities could swing outcomes in either direction.
