Portugal's squad features seasoned campaigners like Marcos Freitas (WR ~40), Tiago Apolonia, and João Geraldo with strong recent WTT form and head-to-head edges in international play, contrasting New Caledonia's less-ranked lineup of Emmanuel Bruchard, Olivier Clouet, Jeremy Dey, and Jerome Morisseau (team seed 42).
