Trader sentiment gives Gilles Arnaud Bailly a slim 53.5% edge over Roman Safiullin in their Alicante Challenger hard-court clash, driven by Bailly's surging form through qualifiers and a straight-sets R1 win, contrasting Safiullin's modest 2-1 recent record amid recovery from prior wrist issues. Safiullin's superior ATP ranking (107 vs. 295) and career 61% hard-court win rate create balance against Bailly's aggressive baseline play and 75% hold rate this week, with no head-to-head history. Odds could shift if Safiullin dominates serve early or Bailly falters under pressure from the higher-seeded Russian's experience.
