Latest National Weather Service and private model guidance points to a high near 70–72°F in Seattle on September 18 under mostly sunny skies and light southerly flow, supporting the market’s leading 70–71°F bin. A stable high-pressure ridge and minimal cloud cover are sustaining daytime warming, though subtle differences in afternoon sea-breeze timing or low-level moisture could trim the peak by 1–2°F or allow a brief push higher. Historical climatology for mid-September shows an average high near 70°F, providing context for the tight clustering around 68–71°F. Traders are weighting the latest GFS and ECMWF runs most heavily ahead of tomorrow’s official observations at Sea-Tac.
