National Weather Service and private model consensus points to a Denver high near 72°F on September 20, driven by a cooler northerly flow and increased cloud cover with scattered showers and thunderstorms that will limit daytime heating. Official guidance shows highs clustering in the low 70s, consistent with the market's heaviest weighting on the 72-73°F bin at 43% implied probability. Recent forecast updates have reinforced this range rather than warmer scenarios, as moisture and reduced insolation offset any residual warmth from the prior day. Traders appear to be pricing the tight clustering of ensemble outputs and the low likelihood of clearing skies sufficient for 74°F-plus readings.
