Carlos Alcaraz's commanding 100% implied probability on Polymarket reflects his confirmed victory in the 2026 Australian Open men's singles final, where the world No. 1 top seed defeated 10-time champion Novak Djokovic 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 7-5 on February 1 to claim his maiden hard-court Grand Slam and complete the career Slam as the youngest man at 22. Key factors included Alcaraz's superior pace, precision, and comeback resilience after dropping the first set, bolstered by strong hard-court form entering as top seed amid Djokovic's age-related vulnerabilities. Earlier-round tests like surviving Yannick Hanfmann and Tommy Paul honed his edge in the draw. With the title secured, no realistic challenges remain barring official disputes, though pre-final trader consensus heavily favored him over contenders like Jannik Sinner.
