Jannik Sinner's straight-sets victory over Carlos Alcaraz in the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 final three days ago propelled him back to world No. 1 and marked his first major clay-court title, boosting trader consensus to a slight 38.5% implied probability for the 2026 French Open amid the ongoing clay swing. Alcaraz's subsequent withdrawal from the Barcelona Open yesterday due to a right wrist and forearm injury—sustained in his first-round win—has tempered expectations despite his strong defending champion run at Monte Carlo, holding him at 34.5% in this tightly contested matchup. Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic trail at 3.3% and 2.9%, reflecting inconsistent recent clay form and historical five-set vulnerabilities at Roland Garros, while the field remains wide open with Madrid Open results pending.
