PSG dominates Ligue 1 with 63 points from 27 matches, securing a Champions League spot while resting ahead of European commitments, leaving the battle for the remaining top-four berths intensely competitive. RC Lens holds second on 59 points after 28 games but suffered a 3-0 northern derby defeat to Lille last weekend, allowing Lille (53 points from 27) to close within six points with a game in hand. Marseille (52 from 29) slipped after a 2-1 loss at Monaco, while Lyon (51 from 29) and Monaco (50 from 29) remain in striking distance amid tight goal differences. Key factors include injury doubts like Marseille's Nayef Aguerd (groin) and remaining fixtures such as Lens vs. Toulouse and Lille vs. Nice this weekend, with five matchdays left shaping table positions and European qualification.
