The Hungarian NB I remains highly competitive entering the 2026-27 campaign, with defending champions Győri ETO, Ferencvárosi TC under new manager Balázs Borbély, Puskás Akadémia, Paksi SE, and several others all viewed as viable title contenders by traders. Last season’s title win by Győr ended Ferencváros’ extended dominance, while early 2026-27 results show a tightly bunched table led by Puskás and Újpest, with Ferencváros sitting mid-table after mixed league form despite strong Europa League qualification. Squad turnover at major clubs, limited budget gaps, and the triple round-robin format further level the field, sustaining broad implied probabilities across the twelve-team division.
