The 2026–27 NB I campaign opened in late July with defending champions Győri ETO and perennial power Ferencvárosi TC viewed as the primary title contenders, leaving a broad group of clubs—including Puskás Akadémia, Újpest, Paksi SE, Vasas, MTK Budapest, and Kisvárda—on similar footing for second place. Early match results show fragmented form, with Vasas and Újpest posting strong starts while others remain within a few points after limited fixtures. Roster stability, European commitments, and fixture congestion will shape the chase, yet no single side has separated itself through consistent results or superior squad depth. This parity underpins the market’s tight clustering, as traders price realistic paths for multiple teams to finish as runner-up behind the likely champion.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of NB I (Hungary) for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NB I (Hungary) (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the NB I (Hungary); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
