James Wade enters the Australian Darts Masters quarter-final against Stephen Bunting as a narrow 50.5% favorite, reflecting the tight balance between two experienced PDC professionals with strong World Series pedigrees. Wade’s opening-round demolition of Tim Pusey at a 112.73 average, including high finishes like 164, has reinforced his reputation for clinical finishing and consistency under the lights, while Bunting advanced steadily with a 6-3 win over Mal Cuming. Both players bring proven stage composure and comparable recent results across the 2026 World Series circuit, where neither has dominated outright. A strong checkout percentage or superior leg-winning momentum from either could shift the implied probability quickly, as could any signs of fatigue from the travel schedule Down Under.
