Sean "Diddy" Combs is serving a 50-month federal sentence at FCI Fort Dix following his July 2025 conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, with acquittals on racketeering and sex-trafficking charges. Bureau of Prisons records project his release in early 2028, even after multiple adjustments tied to good-conduct credits, RDAP participation, and minor disciplinary setbacks like a July 2026 inmate altercation that briefly delayed the timeline. His appeal remains pending before the Second Circuit, with no indication of expedited release or successful bail motion. Ongoing civil litigation and a recently advanced defamation suit add no immediate path to 2026 freedom. Traders see the sentence structure, historical federal credit patterns, and lack of near-term catalysts as locking in the current 84.2% implied probability against release this year.

If Sean Combs is released but remains under house arrest, the market will still resolve to "Yes".
If Sean Combs is released on parole, bond, or any other condition that results in them leaving state custody, the market will resolve to "Yes".
Transporting Sean Combs to another location of custody (e.g., a different prison, court, or hospital within the correctional system) will not suffice to resolve this market to "Yes".
Temporary outings from prison for purposes such as testifying in court or before Congress, while still under the custody of correctional authorities, will not count as a release.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from government authorities or corrections departments; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
