Bulgaria’s first-ever Eurovision victory in 2026 with Dara’s “Bangaranga” has locked in Burgas as host for the 2027 final on May 15 at Arena Burgas, triggering the latest round of participation confirmations. Roughly 19–20 broadcasters have already signaled intent to compete, including North Macedonia’s return after a four-year absence and Canada’s debut following its June 2026 EBU membership. National selection processes are ramping up in countries like Finland, while rule updates clarify hosting eligibility amid geopolitical sensitivities. Traders watch for additional announcements, potential withdrawals, and the full participant list that will shape semi-final allocations and overall contest dynamics ahead of the May deadlines.
