Sixth-seeded Mirra Andreeva arrives as the clear trader consensus favorite in her WTA 500 round-of-16 matchup against qualifier Alycia Parks at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix on indoor clay, fresh off a gritty first-round upset of defending champion Jelena Ostapenko, rallying from 1-4 down in the decider for a 5-7, 6-2, 6-4 win. Andreeva leads their head-to-head 1-0, having dispatched Parks in straight sets at the 2025 US Open. Parks powered past wildcard Noma Noha Akugue in the opener but contends with Andreeva's top-10 ranking, superior clay movement, and breakout 2026 form amid Parks' inconsistent results on the surface. No injury concerns reported, with baseline rallies likely favoring the Russian's consistency over Parks' power game.
