In the ATP Challenger Wuning 2 on hard courts in China, higher-ranked South Korean San-Hui Shin (around No. 350 ATP, career high No. 347) faces 21-year-old Malaysian qualifier Mitsuki Wei Kang Leong (around No. 650 ATP) in what traders view as a test of experience versus momentum. Leong, riding a hot streak, secured straight-set qualifying wins on April 12 (6-3, 6-2) and April 13 (6-2, 6-3 over seeded Pavle Marinkov), boosting his form after a career-high No. 605 last summer. Shin brings superior ranking and recent Challenger showings, including a round-of-32 exit in Yokkaichi, with possible prior head-to-head edge. No injury concerns reported; outcome hinges on Leong's aggression against Shin's consistency in early-round pressure.
