Fajing Sun, the 29-year-old Chinese ATP No. 251 with home-court advantage on familiar hard courts, faces 23-year-old Australian Tai Leonard Sach in a first-round ATP Challenger Wuning 2 matchup on April 15. Sach enters as a lucky loser after a qualifying exit, marking their first head-to-head encounter with no prior meetings. Sun recently fell 1-2 to Pavel Kotov in the prior Wuning Challenger, showing solid but inconsistent form, while Sach's youth and qualifier grind add underdog resilience amid limited top-level experience. No injuries or withdrawals reported; surface suits Sun's baseline game, though Sach's right-handed play could test via aggressive returns. Traders weigh Sun's ranking edge and crowd support against Sach's upset potential in this $63,000 hard-court event.
