Recent streaming data shows Choosin' Texas by Ella Langley holding the top U.S. Spotify spot with consistent daily plays near 1.5 million, while Malcolm Todd's Earrings sits close behind at roughly 1.1 million amid its ongoing viral momentum from earlier TikTok resurgence. Miley Cyrus's newly released Bass Persuades, out September 3 ahead of her September 18 album, is posting rapid early gains that could challenge for the #2 position this week. Olivia Rodrigo's stupid song and the cure, plus tracks like BbY WOW and Loser, remain in contention through steady catalog and playlist support. The tight market reflects fluctuating daily streams and the impact of fresh releases on weekly chart lock.
