Multiple songs sit at even 50% implied probability for the number two Spotify spot this week, underscoring a deadlocked race driven by comparable streaming velocity and playlist performance. Recent release timing, social-media virality, and algorithmic boosts differentiate the frontrunners from lower-odds tracks such as Tame Impala’s “Loser” at 38% and Justin Bieber’s “Beauty and a Beat” at 20%, where established catalog momentum has cooled. Chart analysts will watch daily streaming deltas and viral TikTok spikes through midweek, as any late surge in saves or shares could shift trader consensus before the September 18 cutoff.
