Mary Peltola holds a market lead in the 2026 Alaska Senate race due to consistent polling edges of 5–7 points in recent Alaska Survey Research surveys and a dominant first-quarter fundraising haul of nearly $9 million, more than four times incumbent Dan Sullivan’s total. Alaska’s nonpartisan August primary and ranked-choice voting general election on November 3 introduce uncertainty that traders factor against Peltola’s prior statewide success and Sullivan’s established Republican base. The recent qualification of a second Republican named Dan Sullivan for the primary has raised concerns about potential voter confusion, contributing to the incumbent’s lower implied probability in this otherwise competitive contest.
