Republican incumbent Nick Begich III holds a strong position in Alaska's at-large House race due to the state's consistent Republican presidential voting patterns and his 2024 victory over former Rep. Mary Peltola. The Democratic field weakened substantially after prominent challenger Matt Schultz withdrew in July 2026 and endorsed independent Bill Hill, leaving limited organized opposition ahead of the August 18 top-four primary. Recent polls show Begich leading potential general-election matchups by double digits in some surveys, though independents and ranked-choice voting introduce some variability. Trader consensus on Republican victory at 82.5% aligns with these structural advantages and the absence of competitive Democratic momentum entering the final primary stage.

A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
