The final list of participating countries for Eurovision 2027 is expected to be officially published by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) at the end of 2026. This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed country is included in the earliest official list of participants for the Eurovision Song Contest 2027, as announced by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) or Eurovision by May 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET. This market will solely resolve based on the countries mentioned in the first official announcement; subsequent withdrawals or adjustments will not affect the resolution of this market. If no qualifying list is published by May 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and Eurovision (e.g., https://eurovision.tv); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Canada’s debut as the first new entrant since Australia in 2015, following its full EBU membership, has anchored recent trader focus on Eurovision 2027 participation, alongside North Macedonia’s confirmed return after a four-year absence. Bulgaria’s hosting in Burgas after Dara’s 2026 victory with “Bangaranga” sets the stage for a contest expected to draw around 40 countries, with a maximum of 44 allowed and the Big Five plus host automatically qualifying for the final. Geopolitical tensions continue to shape outcomes, as AVROTROS has again opted out over Israel’s involvement while leaving the door open for another Dutch broadcaster. New rules raising the artist age minimum to 18 and clarifying conflict-related hosting eligibility add further variables. Broadcaster confirmations remain open until mid-September 2026, with national selection processes ramping up through early 2027.
