Recent reports confirm mutual interest between Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in finalizing a contract extension this summer, with Curry becoming eligible on August 29 for a potential one- or two-year deal worth up to roughly $136 million. This development, backed by league sources including Shams Charania, has anchored trader consensus around the Warriors at the highest implied probability. Curry's current one-year extension through 2026-27 and history of prioritizing stability in Golden State further support this positioning over speculative alternatives. Other teams, clustered in the mid-40s or lower, reflect long-shot scenarios tied to unrestricted free agency in 2027 but lack supporting roster, injury, or trade developments as the 2026-27 season approaches.
