Stephen Curry's repeated public affirmations that he intends to finish his career with the Golden State Warriors, combined with strong organizational backing, underpin the near-certain trader consensus reflected in the 98.1% implied probability he stays. The 38-year-old point guard, entering the final year of a $62.6 million deal, became eligible in late August for a maximum two-year extension worth up to $136.7 million, and both Curry and Warriors executives including GM Mike Dunleavy and owner Joe Lacob have emphasized mutual desire for him to remain the franchise cornerstone through at least age 40. Recent reporting from beat writers and insiders reinforces this alignment, with no credible indications of trade requests or free-agency interest despite last season's modest 37-win total and Curry's right-knee management. While a significant health setback or roster dissatisfaction could theoretically prompt reconsideration, the current skin-in-the-game pricing shows traders view departure as highly improbable.
