Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva holds a clear edge in trader consensus for her Miami Open qualifying matchup against Varvara Lepchenko, reflecting her higher WTA ranking around No. 120 versus Lepchenko's sub-250 position and stronger recent hard-court results. The 20-year-old Andorran has won three of her last five matches, including a solid showing in Indian Wells qualifiers, while the 38-year-old American veteran struggles with consistency, dropping four of six recent outings amid ongoing fitness concerns. No head-to-head history exists, but Kasintseva's youth, speed, and baseline game suit the fast Miami hard courts better than Lepchenko's power style, which has faded with age. Watch for weather impacts on play, as gusts could favor the steadier Kasintseva.
