Current National Weather Service guidance and ensemble model consensus project a sunny, hot day in Dallas on September 6 with highs near 100°F under southerly flow and lingering moisture from the remnants of Tropical Storm Edouard. This setup supports heat indices above 105°F while keeping actual air temperatures in the upper 90s to low 100s, consistent with late-summer climatology for North Texas. Recent clearing skies and minimal precipitation have reinforced the warm, stable pattern, with limited model spread around the 99–101°F range. Traders have priced 98–101°F outcomes at nearly 90% combined implied probability, reflecting high confidence in official forecasts absent any rapid synoptic shift before resolution.
