Trader consensus favors a narrow 74-77°F range for Denver’s September 21 maximum, with the 74-75°F bin leading at 41% implied probability ahead of 76-77°F at 31.5%. This positioning reflects the latest National Weather Service short-range guidance and ensemble model spreads, which place the expected high near the boundary between these bins amid modest uncertainty in daytime heating. Key differentiating factors include forecast variations in cloud cover, surface wind speeds, and the precise timing of any weak frontal passage, each capable of shifting peak temperatures by 1–2°F through changes in insolation and advection. With resolution hours away, the next model updates and real-time observations from Denver-area stations will determine the final outcome.
