Recent forecasts from the UK Met Office and ensemble models point to a southerly flow advecting milder air masses into southeast England, supporting a Sunday maximum near 25–27 °C in London with partly cloudy skies and light-to-moderate winds. This setup follows a brief cooler interlude after the record-hot summer and explains why the 26 °C bin leads market-implied odds at 41 percent, followed closely by 25 °C and 27 °C. Model runs show limited spread around these values because daytime heating will be tempered by residual moisture and variable cloud cover rather than full September sunshine. Updated guidance through the weekend and any shifts in the 12–15 UTC peak window remain the key near-term catalysts that could refine these probabilities.
