Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Los Angeles on September 21 indicate a high near 74–77°F, with morning low clouds and fog giving way to partly cloudy skies and southwest winds around 10–15 mph moderating afternoon temperatures. This aligns closely with the climatological average high of 75.7°F for the date and follows several days of similar conditions, including highs of 76–80°F on September 18–19. Model consensus and marine layer persistence support the market’s strong weighting toward 74–77°F outcomes, as these thresholds capture the expected range at key stations like LAX without significant warming from offshore flow or clear-sky amplification. Updated forecast discussions and any shifts in the marine layer depth will be key near-term drivers ahead of resolution.
