**NWS forecasts for Miami on September 21 project a high near 88°F under mostly cloudy skies with an 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms, driven by southerly flow and abundant tropical moisture.** This aligns with the market's leading 88-89°F outcome at 39% implied probability, followed by 90-91°F at 27% and 86-87°F at 24.5%. Afternoon convection and cloud cover typically cap maximum temperatures in Miami's subtropical regime by limiting solar heating and enhancing evaporative cooling, consistent with recent days when highs reached only the upper 80s to low 90s despite September normals near 89°F. Model consensus and official guidance show limited upside potential without a significant clearing trend, keeping lower probabilities on extremes below 86°F or above 91°F. Resolution depends on the official Miami International Airport observation.
