Green Party leader Zack Polanski’s selection as candidate has intensified focus on Holborn and St Pancras, where local Camden results from May 2026 showed the party at 27–29% against Labour’s 33–39%. This momentum, combined with the October 8 by-election timeline and the seat’s urban demographics favoring progressive alternatives, underpins trader pricing clustered around 30–40% for the Greens. Labour’s candidate, council leader Sagal Abdi-Wali, benefits from the party’s organizational edge and residual loyalty, while smaller parties including Reform UK and the Liberal Democrats risk splitting the anti-Labour vote without clear consolidation. These factors sustain the tight distribution across 25–40% bands, with separation likely hinging on turnout among younger and renter voters or any late shifts in national polling.
