Incumbent Republican Brian Fitzpatrick holds a slight edge in trader consensus for Pennsylvania's 1st Congressional District House seat, driven by his commanding fundraising lead—$7.7 million cash on hand versus Democrat Bob Harvie's $604,000 as of late March—and narrow leads in recent polls, including a March Global Strategy Group survey showing him at 48% to Harvie's 42% among likely voters. The race remains tightly contested amid the district's battleground status in Bucks County suburbs, where Democrats showed local strength in recent special elections, and a Public Policy Polling survey tied the matchup at 41% apiece. The May 19 Democratic primary, pitting Harvie against Lucia Simonelli, could yield a stronger challenger, while GOP turnout dynamics or national midterm trends might tip the balance in this slim House majority environment.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
