Svrcina arrives with solid recent challenger form, including quarterfinal runs in recent events, while Aguilar's ITF-level results show limited top-tier success. No prior head-to-head exists, and no injuries are reported from official ATP updates. Both players are rested entering this first-round matchup, but Svrcina's power baseline game aligns better with Miami's conditions, tempering upset potential despite tennis's volatility.
