Henrique Rocha, ranked No. 126 with a strong clay court pedigree including a recent Challenger title in Brasilia last month, holds a clear edge as the No. 7 seed and home favorite on Portuguese clay against qualifier Tom Gentzsch (No. 231) in the Oeiras 3 Challenger round of 32. The pair meet for the first time head-to-head, with Gentzsch earning main-draw entry via decisive qualifying wins over Martin Krumich (6-4, 5-7, 6-4) and Alejandro Moro Canas (6-3, 6-0) in the past 48 hours, showcasing momentum but added fatigue from three matches. Rocha benefits from direct entry rest advantage, superior Elo rating (180 vs. 218), and crowd support, though Gentzsch's recent ITF form adds upset potential in this baseline-heavy matchup.
