Adam Walton enters as the clear favorite against Chris Rodesch in the Miami Open qualifying round, driven by his higher ATP ranking (around 152 vs. Rodesch's 370+) and stronger recent hard-court form, including Challenger quarterfinal runs. No prior head-to-head exists, but Walton's serve and baseline power suit the fast Miami surface better than Rodesch's inconsistent results in lower-tier events. Traders price Walton at heavy implied probabilities (80%+), reflecting his momentum from recent wins, while Rodesch relies on qualifier upsets that are rare against top-200 foes. Weather and fatigue from travel could factor, but Walton's experience edges the consensus.
