This market will resolve to the manager who wins the 2026 American League Manager of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the manager whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. Will Venable leads the AL Manager of the Year market at 70% implied probability because the White Sox have surged from a 102-loss season to first place in the AL Central at 75-72 despite a young roster without established stars. Traders credit his handling of lineup construction, pitching staff development, and in-season adjustments for the turnaround. Kevin Cash sits second at 18% after guiding the Rays to the AL's best record at 88-59 and a playoff berth, though repeat success and a stronger supporting cast temper his momentum relative to Venable's narrative. Lower-priced candidates such as Stephen Vogt and others trail due to middling team results and less pronounced roster transformations heading into the final weeks.
