Recent polls position Liberal candidate Tatiana Auguste as the frontrunner in the Terrebonne federal by-election, driving her 61.5% trader consensus while Conservative Nathalie Sinclair-Desgagné trails at 36.5%, with other contenders like Maxime Beaudoin, Maria Cantore, Adrienne Charles, and Benjamin Rankin at negligible 0.1%. Key factors include Auguste's edge in local voter surveys amid Quebec's competitive dynamics, bolstered by the riding's history as a Bloc Québécois seat now contested fiercely between Liberals and Conservatives. Developments boosting Auguste include a mid-October Léger poll showing her 12-point lead, strong volunteer turnout, and national Liberal focus on infrastructure pledges, though Sinclair-Desgagné gains from Poilievre's party momentum; advance polls start November 22 ahead of December 16 voting.
